SleepRight Dental Guard Description

SleepRight’s patented self-adjust technology delivers a dental guard that is both comfortable and effective. Pain from nightly teeth grinding becomes a thing of the past.

Two adjustable bitepads fit snugly between the upper and lower molars of any bite. This re-establishes your natural freeway space. The tissue retention between your lips, cheeks, and tongue naturally holds the guard in position.

While typical dental guards are uncomfortable to fit, requiring you to boil water and bite into hot plastic, the SleepRight dental guard has a heat-sensitive band that simply adjusts to the contours of your anatomy. There are no clasps or sharp corners to contend with.

The effect of the dental guard is twofold. Firstly, it cushions and protects teeth from chipping, fractures and loosening caused by jaw grinding. Secondly, it spaces the teeth apart in such a way that the jaw joints are decompressed and caused to relax.

How Do I Know Which SleepRight Dental Guard is Best for Me?

1. The Slim-Comfort

The Slim-Comfort is the smallest and lightest of the four models. It is ideal for adults with small mouths, sensitive gums, or those experiencing irritation from regular mouth guards. It is also discreet enough for daytime wear. It is the same as the Secure-Comfort model, but without stability wings on the upper sides.

3. The Secure-Comfort

The Secure-Comfort model is the same as the Slim-Comfort, with the addition of stability wings on both sides. These fit against the gums and ensure that the dental guard stays in place. This is the generally recommended model for customers wishing to address their clenching problems.

4. The Dura-Comfort

The Dura-Comfort the most advanced of the SleepRight designs. It is recommended for those who grind aggressively. It is constructed from a denser material, ensuring greater durability against heavy grinding. Its advanced engineering comprises even more flexible, separate stability wings, an anatomically designed frontal band and sturdier bitepads. This ensures increased comfort, a completely aligned fit and absolutely minimal irritation to gum tissue. The grooved strap on the heat-sensitive thermal band is also wider than that of the other models, reducing rubbing and helping it to stay in place.

  • The SleepRight dental guard uses patented technology, delivering a cost-effective and user-friendly appliance to address teeth clenching and grinding.
  • It is lightweight yet durable, consisting of a fully adjustable strap and bitepads that conform easily to every mouth shape.
  • There is no need for cutting or biting into hot plastic to shape the device.

Faqs:

How do I clean the SleepRight dental guard?

The Sleepright dental guard needs to be thoroughly cleaned and dried to prevent bacterial growth. Rinse in cool water or mouthwash and store it in its provided case upon drying. Keep it out of reach of pets, who are often tempted to chew and destroy the dental guard!

How does the SleepRight dental guard differ from other guards on the market?

The SleepRight dental guard was developed by a dentistry expert after an in-depth study of hundreds of patients. It is similar in function to other appliances made in a dental office, but without the high cost. It is actually more user friendly than other products because it is lightweight, making it easier to breathe and talk with. You do not need to remove it to drink.

SleepRight’s unique technology makes it the most comfortable product on the market to adjust to your own mouth shape. Its elegant mechanism adjusts to fit your anatomy without the need for cutting, or heating the plastic in boiling water in order to bite into it. Every product also comes with a clinically proven, written guide that teaches you to control and stop your teeth grinding habits

Can I wear the SleepRight dental guard all day?

It is safe to wear the dental guard all day, however, we recommend that you do not exceed 12 hours of usage in any 24 hour period. Your dental guard is an effective tool in curing your teeth clenching and grinding habit. Ideally, however, you should aim for the goal of stopping your habit altogether. It is important to try not to become permanently reliant on the dental guard. Taking periodic breaks from using the dental guard also allows you to determine your rate of progress towards the ultimate goal of stopping teeth clenching and grinding.

Why does my jaw hurt more than before using the dental guard?

Jaw fatigue and soreness are completely normal reactions that occur with usage of any dental guard on the market. They are usually only temporary symptoms, resulting from your natural tendency to bite down. The SleepRight bitepads stretch the jaw muscles in order to re-establish the natural space between your upper and lower jaw, causing possible discomfort. With continued usage, natural space is restored and the initial soreness disappears.

I broke mine within a week. And I mean broke. Piece came off it. I spat it out in my sleep, which is good, ‘cos the alternative is bad.

+ PROS: Like, I guess my teeth didn't hit each other?
    - CONS: The stupid thing broke in a week.

I read a lot of reviews and these appear to be fake. :/ it’s a bit of a let down. I bought this product today and I like that it has a smaller profile. The boil and fit tends to press too deeply between my teeth so this harder plastic may word better. The jury is still out.

I have daytime bruxism and I needed a light teeth guard that does not show too much. The SleepRight is just right. I recommend it to all daytime grinders out there.

I absolutely love my SleepRight and I have been using it only a month. I used to grind my teeth almost every night and woke up with pain in my jaw and sore spots on the side of my tongue where I used to bite it. For just $40 my life changed and I rarely grind my teeth any more. No more sore spots. on a plastic mouthpiece but it has been so worth it!

After my dentist diagnosed me with TMJ, he recommended that I try SleepRight. He said that it would make my pain much more bearable and would help me sleep. He was right and I am grateful for his advice. The only problem I have is that I bite through it in about thee months and have to replace it. But, I grind my teeth so hard that I would probably bite through anything, so I am not complaining. What matters is that my pain is almost gone. Thank you.

I was very skeptical about this product because it looked bulky, and I was surprised how comfortable and effective it was from the first day. No need for boiling plastic, it adjust itself to my teeth automatically. Highly recommended.

I tried all sorts of night guards, but I have a small mouth and I could not find anything that would fit. Then I tried SleepRight as a last resort, and it works perfect. I can finally sleep well and wake up without pain.
