Pro Teeth Guard Description

Pro Teeth Guard provides the perfect solution for teeth grinding by offering custom made teeth guards that are accessible and affordable. Through their online store, they make it easy for their customers to order custom night guards directly from their lab, the same lab dentist use and charge you much more.

Pro Teeth guards are professionally made in the company’s dental lab located in San Diego County, California. The lab has been providing services to dentists for more than 10 years and they have manufactured thousands of perfectly fitting custom teeth guards, as well as other dental products. They are now offering you the same service, bypassing expensive visit to your dentist. Plus, shipping is FREE!

How it Works

Each custom night guard based on an self-made impression of your teeth. Once the lab receives the impression of your teeth, the lab technician will make a plaster mold of your teeth. Using the mold, each custom night guard is crafted to fit your teeth perfectly.

Here’s the impression kit laid out:

  1. Prepaid return envelope
  2. Packages of impression putty (they provide an extra set of putty just in case)
  3. Upper tray (2 different sizes: patient chooses the one that fits best)
  4. Lower tray

They take the upper and lower impressions for a perfect fit for the customer, since the mouth guard needs to take into account how the upper & lower teeth make contact when the patient bites down.

Some other online stores only take the upper impression. In those cases, a few teeth may be taking on all the pressure (e.g. if they protrude a little higher) & it can lead to pain/issues.

Once finished, dental night guards are inspected by the lab manager with more than 20 years of dental industry experience. If necessary, the technician makes fine adjustments to ensure perfect fit. Once it is finished, your custom mouth guard is mailed to your address.

How to Choose the Right Guard For Me?

If you have already contacted your dentist when you noticed that you grind teeth at night, he or she must have explained to you what damage is teeth grinding doing to your teeth and jaws. He also probably explained, based on the state of your teeth, how severe is your teeth grinding. The severity of grinding usually determines which type of night guard would work best for you. Your goal is to find a night guard that is at the same time custom made to be comfortable in your mouth, but strong enough to prevent you from grinding your teeth.

If you are a heavy grinder, a soft night guard will not last you a long time. On the other hand, rigid, hard night guard, which are more durable, are often not very comfortable. That is one reason why most Pro Teeth Guard customers prefer Hybrid Night Guard, a combination of hard outside shell and soft, comfortable inner layer.

Features:

  • Custom made night guards manufactured by an experienced dental lab technician in the certified lab in California;
  • Three types of night guard to accommodate all types of night grinding;
  • Simple at-home impression of both lower and upper teeth is used to produce perfectly comfortable custom made night guard;
  • Pro Teeth Guard offers free shipping and 110 percents guarantee of quality of their products;
  • Great savings in bypassing the dentist and still getting the same quality of the custom guard.

FAQs

Which type of Night Guard is the best for me?

Your dentist must have given you some recommendation on what type of night guard you need when he diagnosed you with night teeth grinding. In addition, you can decide yourself which night guard would work best for you based on the severity of your teeth grinding. The more pronounced and severe your grinding is, the stronger night guard you need. Most Pro Teeth Guard customers find that hybrid night guard, which is designed for moderate to heavy grinding, works best as it offers a combination of durability and comfort. Its outer layer is hard and durable and inner layer is soft and comfortable.

What kinds of materials are use to make the night guards?

As a professional dental lab, they use the same professional dental materials for their individual clients as they use to make the night guards for dentists who order from them. Their hard night guard is manufactured from acrylic, a hard, clear type of plastic. Their hybrid night guard is produced from two materials fused together, named dual-laminate. They make soft night guard from a special material called ProFlav. All the materials they use are safety-approved and are ordered from the supplier of professional dental materials.

How should I make my teeth impression?

After you make your order, Pro Teeth Guard will send you a kit with detailed instructions, photos, and material you should use to make your teeth impression. The whole process should take only about 15 minutes.

How long do I have to wait for my night guard?

The whole process normally takes about three weeks. After you receive the kit you ordered, take the impression according to the instructions and send it back to the lab in a self-addressed envelope. Once order is received, it takes the lab about eight days to make your guard. Depending on your location, it will take between three and six days for your order to get back to you. The guards are shipped from the lab in California.

What if my new night guard doesn’t fit well?

Pro Teeth Guard dental lab is run by a professional dental lab technician who has more than 20 years of experience. The lab normally delivers hundreds of perfectly comfortable and well-fitted night guards to the dentists all over the country, together with a range of other dental products such as dentures, crowns and bridges. All products are carefully checked to ensure perfect fit and high quality. There is very small possibility that your custom made night guard will not fit you perfectly.

But, if for any reason you are not satisfied with how your night guard fits, you are encouraged to contact the lab with the number of your order and the lab staff will find a solution to your problem until you are perfectly satisfied. The company is so confident in the quality of their products that it offers 110% Money Back Guarantee!

Is the quality of my custom guard really the same as what I would receive from my dentist?

Yes. Your custom guard is made by a professional dental lab in San Diego County, California. The lab currently produces night guards for many dentists. The lab technicians use the same materials and the same process for the customers who order their custom night guards through ProTeehGuard.com as they do for dentists. If you live in Southern California, and ordered a night guard from your dentist, it is very likely that you paid for it $400 and the guard was made at the Pro Teeth dental lab.

Why is Pro Teeth Guard so much cheaper than the guard from my dentist?

By ordering your night guard directly from the lab, you can bypass the dentist who has to charge you a markup, which is usually 200% to 300%. It is just like “factory direct” price for any product. Of course, there are cases when you need to go through your dentist. For example, if your night grinding is caused by some type of jaw issue, your dentist will need to order you a special night guard which will help the alignment of your teeth and jaw in a specific way. Also, in some cases, the dentist has to do several adjustments before your night guard fits well. In such special cases, their markup is well justified. But, for most people who need a simple, comfortable night guard to protect their teeth from grinding and clenching, Pro Teeth Guard provides exactly the same product as your dentist.

    I previously had a thin guard from different company. It eventually broke. Then I had terrible experience with the other company getting another. So I tried ProTeethGuard. Everything went well. Taking the impression is a little tricky, but no way around that if you want to order online. PTG staff are professional and helpful. PTG is more expensive, but I think it’s worth it, the thin guard is important for me to prevent tooth damage, and is comfortable to wear.

    I ordered the hybrid night guard, and I am very satisfied. It is easy to see that it is made of high quality material. It fit great at the beginning, but it then started hurting some of my teeth. After I emailed the Pro Teeth Guard, they told me they will make the adjustments. And they did!
